Symptom

  • To manually remove HADR by following HADR Users Guide Manually Removing HADR Replication
  • command sp_hadr_admin dropserver fails with below error, or sometimes it returns ok but actually doesn't drop all HADR entries from sysservers
  • sp_dropserver <SID_SITEx>
    go
    Msg 17534, Level 16, State 1:
    Server 'SID', Procedure 'sp_dropserver', Line 364:
    There are still external logins for the server 'SID_SITEx'.
