2968401 - Error when performing hire date correction - Employee Central

When trying to change a hire date for an employee using the Hire Date Correction tool the following issues received: 

"This record was not saved because there were errors in other records for [user id]"

or an Application error is received.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Hire/Rehire

The target employee has 1 more record on his history that is changing the Position Entry Date for a future date.

Note: Support Engineers please check the Internal Memo for application error log.

Remove the extra record in the job history and perform the hire date correction.
