Symptom

  • Two options are set before executing DBCC allocation database verification.

set option PUBLIC.DBCC_LOG_PROGRESS='ON'; 
set option PUBLIC.DBCC_Log_Block_Numbers='ON';

  • Call sp_iqcheckdb ('allocation database') gives error "main Bufman: Incorrect page header read" (IPHR)
  • How is the corrupted object found which caused this error?
