2968761 - Error AA 347 when posting to an asset - S/4HANA CLOUD

Getting error AA 347 (You cannot post to asset in company code XXXX, fiscal year YYYY) when posting to an asset.

Post to an asset

The fiscal year in question is still closed at AA side.

It is not possible to post value to an asset before the new fiscal year has been opened. To check this you can open App Make Company Code settings.

Enter the ledger specific info by the company and check the field 'Highest F.Year'.

For example:

Getting error during any asset posting: "You cannot post to asset in company code XXXX, fiscal year 2020"

Checking field Highest F.Year → 2019

Therefore the error message AA347 is justified when trying to do a posting at this stage as the fiscal year change has not been executed yet.

Use balance carryforward job from App Schedule Asset Accounting Jobs to open the next fiscal year.
