Symptom

  • "Error in ReportName.rpt file: Impossible to load database information" when trying to print Crystal Report nased on a dataset using .NET SDK
  • The error does not appear in SP25, but starts appearing in SP27.
  • Printing a blank report is successful.

Environment

SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio SP27 (13.0.27).

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Use SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio SP27 to print Crystal reports based on dataset
  2. Get the error "Error in ReportName.rpt file: Impossible to load database information":

Cause

The issue is caused by a Program defect.

Resolution

The issue is resolved in SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio SP28 (13.0.28).
