2969155 - Pressing Enter in Ticket E-mail Editor Generates a New Paragraph and Not a Linebreak

Symptom

You notice that when pressing enter in the e-mail editor for tickets, a new paragraph is generated rather than a new line.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Service work center.
  2. Navigate to Tickets work center view.
  3. Open any ticket.
  4. Navigate to Interactions tab.
  5. Click New.
  6. Type in some text.
  7. Click Enter.
  8. See that a new paragraph is generated.

Cause

This is the system standard behavior.

Resolution

When using the TinyMCE Editor or RTE Editor, every Enter is considered as a next paragraph. While every Shift+Enter is considered as a line.
