2970581 - Error AA031 when posting to an asset

When you post to an asset, the system raises error AA031 "Error when reading fiscal year & for main number &".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The reason is that the asset was created when fiscal year 2022 was closed, then you reopened fiscal year 2022 and capitalized the asset in 2022. However there is no entry for this asset in the database in fiscal year 2022, so there is no way to do any posting in 2022.

The asset can't be used any more, please create a new asset to replace it with fiscal year 2022 open.
