2970829 - Can the "Show" link on masked national id be hidden?

Symptom

This KBA explains whether the "Show" button on masked National ID field can be hidden or not.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. If "National ID" field has been set to "Masked: Yes" in BCUI it should be hidden in the profile;




  2. However, by clicking the "Show" button, the value becomes available.

Cause

This is as per design.

Resolution

As per the current product design, there is no way to make the "Show" button hidden.
