2970946 - Features of Dashboard are not Working When Broadcasted

You are working with a dashboard which was received via broadcast and you could observe some dashboard features (e.g. Filters, Connections, Hide Legend, Analyze Data) are not working in the attached HTML file received.

SAP Cloud For Customer

1. Go to Business Analytics Work Center.
2. Go to design dashboard and create one as per requirement.
3. Create new broadcast and use the previously created dashboard.
4. Select format as HTML in broadcast and trigger it.

You get the html file as attachment and if you open that file, you notice that features of dashboard are not working as compared to system.

In the HTML file, we have direct visibility to see data without logging in the system. So in this format, we do not support other features of dashboard. It is supposed to display the data only. This is the system designed behavior for dashboards sent via broadcast.

We can either use the link we get in the e-mail (via broadcast in HTML format) or use other format "Web Browser Link" in broadcast to use other features of dashboard.
