2971187 - Error message when assigning the semantic tags to the functional area.

• In the SSCUI 102659 When assigning the semantic tags to functional area Error message: Please, enter valid functional area from is received.

• SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• SAP S/4HANA Cloud. 

1. Go to SSCUI 102659 Assign Semantic Tags to Financial Statement Versions.
2. Press on New Entries.
3. In the Pop-up box select the radio button Assign Semantic Tag to Functional Area.
4. Press on Continue Button.
5. Provide field values: FS Version; Fun. area from; Semantic Tag.
6. Press on the Save button.

Functional Area is not assigned in the Financial Statement Version.

To assign the Functional area to the Financial statement version. Kindly, follow the below steps.

1. Go to the SSCUI Define Financial Statement Versions 102669.
2. Click on Configure button.
3. In the Edit mode go to the details of the Financial statement version.
4. The check box Functional Area Permitted must be checked under General Specification.
5. From the screen press the Financial Statement Items button.
6. Select the node to assign the functional area.
7. Press the button Assign Functional Area.
8. In the pop-up provide the "From Funct. Area" and "To Funct. Area field" field values.
9. Press the Tick mark on the pop-up.
10. Press Save Button.
