2971395 - Virtual Safety Stock and Days' Supply determination in PP/DS

Symptom

  • In /SAPAPO/MVM, you chose for field 'Take Safety Stock into Account' value '2 - Consider Virtual Safety Stock Elements'. Upon opening PP/DS transactions like /SAPAPO/POV1 and /SAPAPO/RRP3, you notice that the Safety Stock is not taken into account in the Days' Supply calculation

  • For the same Days' Supply Type, you notice different Days' Supply value is calculated for a Location-Product between some PP/DS transactions (like the Product Overview) and the Product View: Periodic chart at the Product Planning Table
