2972339 - Manage Templates Error: Filter# should be set to required="true" - Recruiting Management

On Manage Templates, when saving the changes, the system gives a warning asking to make the filter fields as required="true".

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to Manage Templates
2. Apply the desired changes
3. Save and publish the template
4. A warning message will appear suggesting to make the filter fields as required.

This warning message will not prevent the changes to be saved, however it's leaving these field as unrequired can cause Application Error popups in unexpected places.

If this is an option field, you can either re-configure to template to make it as not a filter field or configure it as required and use a pick­list value of N/A or similar.
