2972415 - Getting the error "Insufficient row-level permission" in Odata Auditlog during Background check

Symptom

When running a Background check we are receiving a response error in the Odata API Log Detail saying "Insufficient row-level permission"

Reproducing the Issue

Configure and run Background checks by following the steps in the following KBA:

2768811 - How to Configure Background Check Integration (Integration Center)

2845873 - How Background Check Integration Works (Integration Center

After configuration and all mentioned permissions are provided you'll receive a response saying "Insufficient row-level permission"

Cause

Upon confirmation that all necessary RBP permissions and field level permissions are provided for the users that are initiating the background check.

The reason the for the said error messages are due to some instruction type fields are set to required in the Application Template which prevents background check from updating the candidate status.

Resolution

Set the instructions fields to non required fields from the XML
