2972996 - Sales Documents Actual Costing reports - No report data available to display; check the selection

You execute the

Sales Documents Actual Costing - Cost Breakdown(Item Type) report (technical ID: FININVU18_Q0001) or Sales Documents Actual Costing - Cost Breakdown(G/L Account) report  (technical ID FININVU18_Q0002) and observe that there is no data over the screen. Instead, the message 'No report data available to display; check the selection' appears.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Inventory Valuation work center.
2. Go to the Reports view.
3. Search for the Sales Documents Actual Costing - Cost Breakdown(Item Type) or the Sales Documents Actual Costing - Cost Breakdown(G/L Account) report.

You can see the message 'No report data available to display; check the selection'.

These reports are based on the data source FININVU18 which fetches data from the Material Actual Costing screen. If no data is displayed in the report then there is no data in this view.

To display data here, you have to execute the Actual Cost Rollup Run.

1. Go to the Inventory Management work center.
2. Select Periodic Tasks view --> Actual Cost Rollup subview.
3. Create and Execute the Actual Cost Rollup run.
4. You can see the data in Material Actual Costing view. 

As a result, you can execute the Sales Documents Actual Costing reports which will now display data.
