2973002 - Planned Revenue or Planned Cost From Project Not Showing in Project Planning Reports

When executing project planning reports, such as the Project Variance by Project report the Planned Revenue and Planned Cost are not displayed.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Analytics work center.

2. Go to the Design Reports view.

3. Click Project Variance by Project Report (for example).

4. Select relevant company.
5. Select relevant project.
6. Go to View.
7. Add Planned Cost and Planned Revenue Key Figures.
8. Click Apply.

Both Key Figures show no amount.

There are errors in the Project Plan Values. It can be checked as follows:

1. Go to the Cost and Revenue work center.
2. Go to the Projects view.
3. Show All Projects.
4. Find relevant project. You notice that the Error Status is red.
5. Click View Plan Values.
6. Select the Project Task ID that has red marker on Error Status.
7. Go to the Messages tab.

Correct all errors existing in the Plan Values and click Valuate again.

Once the Error status of the Project and all its project tasks is green, the Planned Revenue / Cost amounts will appear correctly on the reports.
