2973035 - SAP IQ "backup database" fails with "Filename does not exist. File: /PATH/PITR.iqlog" error

Symptom

  • When "PITR" is enabled, a "backup database" statement may fail with following error

(DBA)> BACKUP DATABASE FULL TO '/PATH/full_backup'
Could not execute statement.
Filename does not exist. File:
/PATH/PITR.iqlog

SQLCODE=-1006067, ODBC 3 State="HY000"

  • iqmsg file report the following errors:
