2973486 - Error 'SSL handshake with notesdownloads.sap.com:443 failed: SSSLRC_CONN_CLOSED (-10)' during connection test for SAP-SUPPORT_NOTE_DOWNLOAD in SM59

Symptom

  • System cannot download SAP Digitally Signed Notes in transaction SNOTE, even though HTTP protocol or Download Service has been configured.
  • When performing connection test for HTTP RFC destination SAP-SUPPORT_NOTE_DOWNLOAD (G-type) or SAP-SUPPORT_PORTAL in SM59, below error message appears:
    "SSL handshake with notesdownloads.sap.com:443 failed: SSSLRC_CONN_CLOSED (-10)"
