2973789 - When Performing a Data Removal Run For Employees, the Tasks Get Stuck in Process

You are trying to perform a data removal run for employees, but the tasks are stuck in process

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Data Protection and Privacy work centre.
2. Click on Common tasks.
3. Choose Administer data removal run option.
4. Select All removal runs.
5. See active job Deletion of multiple Employee Data.
6. if you click on the Application logs, you will already see that they are in process and they get stuck trying to open.

This usually occurs when there are many entries created for the application log. In the subsequent executions, deletion was triggered on the already deleted business partner which caused the error.

We suggest to schedule the deletion run by restricting to 100 employees per run to avoid application log issues.
