This document will guide you on how to Verify Web Feed URL for News Authoring In SAP Business ByDesign.

1. In the Application and User Management work center, choose the News Authoring view.

2. Click New.

3. The New Company Feed quick activity opens.
4. Select the radio button next to Web Feed and enter the URL of the Web feed you wish to add in the URL field.
5. Click Verify URL to make sure that the URL is correct/Incorrect.

Web Feed URL was not pointing to .rss or .xml format.

In the Web Feed URL you need to use the URL which points to the .rss or .xml format.

You can follow the below steps and reproduce the issue which interms gives you the correct result.

4. Select the radio button next to Web Feed and enter the URL of the Web feed you wish to add in the URL field.
5. Click Verify URL to make sure that the URL "https://news.google.com.au/news/rss" which gives you the valid URL as shown below:
