Symptom
A user with complete Report-Story admin permissions cannot see Report Object Configuration Entity and Report Schema Configuration Entity under Manage Data.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Admin Center > Manage Data
- Search for:
- Report Object Configuration Entity
- Report Schema Configuration Entity
- Result: These objects are missing and not listed.
Cause
During the Upgrade SAC process, the entities ReportObjectConfigEntity and ReportSchemaConfigEntity should be created automatically. If not, try the steps in the resolution section.
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Clear MDF Cache (Reference: SAP Note 2589774)
- Go to Admin Center
- Navigate to OData API Metadata Refresh and Export
- Select Refresh Metadata Cache
2. Run MDF Object Definition To DB SYNC Job
- Go to Scheduled Job Manager > Job Scheduler
- Select Job Type: MDF Object Definition To DB SYNC
- Click Actions > Run it now
- Monitor completion via Scheduled Job Manager > Job Monitor
3. Verify Entities
- After job completion, log in again
- Go to Manage Data
- Confirm that Report Object Configuration Entity and Report Schema Configuration Entity are now visible
