2974407 - Infected with 11 (SIGSEGV) in sqt_deallocate - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Client connection unexpectedly terminated

  • Errorlog contains an infected with 11 error with a stack trace that includes the following functions:

    sqt_deallocate
    tdsrecv__dyndealloc
    tdsrecv_dynamic

  • Infected with 11 error is followed by an "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: signal in signal handler" error

  • ASE then shuts down.
