Symptom

  • BW Dataloads fail with Error 14316
  • The error occurs while adding partitions to the F fact table of an Infocube
  • ALTER TABLE ADD PARTITION command in isql fails with below error

Error: 14316, Severity: 19, State: 1
The number field in syscomments for partition condition 774615863 in database 4 for table '/BIC/FCUBE' indid 0 has exceeded the 32767 limit.
