2975070 - Offer Letter : Functionality of "Preview" and "Next Step" button

Symptom

While generating the offer letter, before sending it to the candidate, you can see "Preview" and "Next Step" buttons.

Upon clicking each button, both redirects to the same page which has "Email as pdf", "Online Offer" etc buttons - meaning both the buttons have the same functionality.

Reproducing the Issue

Generate the Offer Letter for a candidate.

Before dispatching the Offer letter you have options to "Preview" and send to "Next Step" using respective buttons.

Once you click each one of them, both redirects to the same page with Offer letter contents and few more options (which has "Email as pdf", "Online Offer" etc buttons) to proceed further as shown in the image:

Cause

This is an expected behaviour in the product as of now. It is also not possible to remove "Preview" or "Next Step" buttons as these are hardcoded.

Resolution

You can submit an enhancement request either to remove the Preview button or to have a difference in functionality of both the buttons.
