2976409 - When Reporting on Development Goals Some Date Fields are Blank

When reporting on Development Goals in a preview instance, some system generated date fields are blank (eg. creation date, last modified date, ect).

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

1. Login to your Preview Instance.
2. Create an Ad-Hoc Report on the Development Goals domain.
3. Select your fields which may include system generated date fields.
4. The fields which contains system generated date data may be blank.

Examples: Creation Date, Last Modified Date

To optimize cloud storage and improve data storage efficiency, audit data in preview instances is purged when it exceeds its retention time. A retention period is implemented as the minimum requirement for audit data in each product, which guarantees no impact on your business workflow.

Note: Data in your production instances is not affected.

For goals that are in progress or whose due dates are still within the retention period, no audit data is purged and entries in the Audit History are still available. However for goals whose due dates are outside of the retention period, entries in the Audit History are not available.

The current retention time for Career Development Planning is 90 days.

Note: You may find data available in your instance for a longer period than the retention period listed. It is because we implement a longer retention period in the 1H 2020 release and schedule the purge in phases.

This is the expected system behavior, however if data is needed in these fields for testing purposes, we suggest that you create new Development Goals as needed.
