Symptom

Not all permissions available on Analytics permissions (Functional Permissions) compared to Roles on Roles Maintenance in Analytics Backend Admin.

Cause

This is an expected behavior considered the changes on the UI with the Report Center.

Resolution

There will be changes from the permissions that are seen on the Analytics backend and from what is seen on the RBP when restricting the permissions with the RBP and not the Legacy Roles on Roles Maintenance.

The Menu Building and View All Menus were permissions for the UI prior to the Report Center which are no longer an option, so it is not available on the RBP side. The menus can only be accessed with traditional navigation. If Report Center is enabled, you cannot access the menu system. In that situation, you access shared reports via Report Center instead of menus.

This behavior is also true with the options permissions where the Dashboard View is no longer used as explained below:
