2977505 - Account Determination Missing for Item Type 10200

Error occurs when running the report Trial Balance

Error message: Account Determination Missing for Item Type 10200

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Analytics Work center.
2. Go to the Design Reports view.
3. Show All Reports and Find Trial Balance.
4. Enter the Selection Criteria and execute the Report.
5. Can see the error message: Account Determination Missing for Item Type 10200.

Error message occurs as the G/L Account of Account Type OCLSPL (Opening or closing - income statement) is not maintained under Income Summary in General Ledger.

Need to create a G/L Account of Account Type OCLSPL (Opening or closing - income statement) by following steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration Work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Show All Projects and Select the relevant Project.
4. Choose Open Activity List and Go to Fine-Tune.
5. Show All Activities and Find Activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination.
6. Go to Edit Chart of Accounts.
7. Select the Respective Chart of Accounts and add the G/L Account of Account Type OCLSPL (Opening or closing - income statement).

Once this is done, the following steps 1 to 3 need to be maintained.

1. Go to Account Determination and then to General Ledger.
2. Select the Account Determination Profile and change the Sub ledger to General Ledger.
3. Go to Income Summary tab and you can maintain the G/L Account.

Then, the report Trial Balance can be run without this error.
