2978222 - Offset takes non-working time of resource into account

Symptom

  • Explanation about how PDS works when using offset in the PDS component
  • The Bill of Material (BOM) contains components that have a lead time offset maintained. This parameter is transferred to APO as component offset.
  • Per standard, the system DOES NOT take into account the non-working time of the resource for the activity that has the offset. But, if the requirement date falls into a non-working time, then the system automatically reschedules this requirement to a backward date where resource has capacity maintained.
  • Also, when using BAdI /SAPAPO/RRP_SRC_EXIT you can modify this behavior.
