2978334 - Unable to initiate the Onboarding Error: We were unable to initiate this onboarding process (2.0) because the values for the following fields are missing or not mapped: [<Fields affected>]

Symptom

When a candidate is Initiated to Onboarding from RCM, an error is showing:

"We were unable to initiate this onboarding process (2.0) because the values for the following fields are missing or not mapped: [<Fields affected>]"

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Reproducing the Issue

Go to the Requisition where candidate is ready to be initiated to onboarding
Click on the Candidate
On the Take Action on the upper right of the application, Click on "Initiate Onboarding"
Click on Confirm
Error will show

Cause

There are two possible causes:

The issue is that a mapped field in Recruit-to-Hire Data Mapping has an empty data.
There are more than one status flagged as hireable or hired

Resolution

Cause 1:

To check the specific field, please follow the steps below:

Go to Admin Center -> Recruit-to-Hire Data Mapping
Click on employmentinfo on the left panel to check the fields that are mapped
Make sure that there are data on these mapped fields

You can double check by creating an adhoc and filter it with the Application ID, Requisition ID, Firstname, Lastname and the affected field that is showing the error.

Cause 2:

Check the Application Status Set for the specific Job Requisition and make that only one status is flagged as hireable and one as hired.
