Symptom

  •  ASE hits a signal 11 in the modulle ubofree() followed by a stack trace:

Current process (0x64e302ff) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x0x0000000001f4d283 (ubofree+0x373)

  • The stack trace includes functions:

ubofree
ups_disable_hashstats_parallelism
sort
cri_ptn_index
cri_physbuild
cri_bldindex
cri_main

  • Server goes down because the spid is holding Kernel Spinlock:
