Once a candidate creates an account they now see the following screen:

Resolution

This feature was introduced as part of 2020 H2 release. Once introduced, this feature was disabled by default for all the customers.

Enabling/Disabling the feature:

  1. Login to Bizx.
  2. Go to Manage Recruiting Settings >> Switch Name Disable One-Time Password for Email Verification during Candidate Account Creation

The switch will be disabled by default means that you will receive the OTP based verification if you don't check the box. This is an Opt-out feature, if you want to disable it you need to check the mentioned option.

Custom Passcode email:

If you decide to create a custom email template to be used. This can be accomplished by enabling a specific recruiting email trigger:

Under Recruiting Email Trigger >> Enable One-Time Password for External Candidate Account Creation.

When creating the email template for OTP verification we need to maintain the key [[PASSCODE]] in the email template. This will be the token to resolve the passcode.

Here is an example of the email:

Please note that is not possible to include any custom URLs for this email at the moment. The only supported tokens are  [[CANDIDATE_FULL_NAME]] and [[PASSCODE]]. It is not possible to adjust the 2 minutes interval to request for another OTP nor to extend the OTP for more than 10 minutes.
