2979953 - Central Repository object locked by mismatched owner name - Data Services

Symptom

  • Change the database connection type used for a Secure Central Repository from ODBC to Native and the ownername will change from lower case to upper case.
  • The ownername fails to update on all objects in the Secure Central Repository causing them to become invalid.
  • Attempting to delete, checkin, or checkout an invalid object from the Secure Central Repository will fail with the following error:
    Error "Permission denied. Current user has <READ> permission on this object, which is not sufficient to perform this operation. (BODI-1116530)"
  • Checking the CentralRepo.AL_Object_Perm table shows that the object has Full (2) permission.
