Sales Order fields under  SerData tab in the app 'Display Material Serial Number' appear blank despite the assignment to Sales Order  shown in History screen

1. Open the app Display Material Serial Number
2. Input Material and Serial Number
3. Press Continue
4. Navigate to SerData tab
5. The fields Sales Order / Sales Order Item are blank 

System works as Designed

The fields in the 'Display Material Serial Number' app like Plant, storage Location, and Sales Order are only filled, if the serial number is in the warehouse (Status ESTO, in stock).

Therefore, these fields are shown in the section Stock information.

As soon as the serial number leaves the warehouse, the fields will be cleared.

The date of the last goods movement is an exception.

The general design is that the fields are only filled as long as the serial number is in the warehouse.

If you press the button history on the same screen, you can see the related documents,  like goods receipt, or Sales Order.

The Sales Order will only be prefilled for consignment stock.

In the status ESTO (Warehouse), the fields cannot be edited.
