2980362 - Error when trying to establish import data connection to ERP system from SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• When trying to create an ERP connection, the following error appears: "Unable to connect to xxx. Ensure that the connection details are correct
• Network trace shows errorDetails: [{messageId: "ERROR_INVALID_CONNECTION_INFO",…}]
• Tomcat log shows:  Caused by: com.sap.connectivity.foundation.impl.ConnectionError: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 7; columnNumber: 75; The entity name must immediately follow the '&' in the entity reference.

• Import Data Connection to an SAP ERP system

1. Create an import connection from SAC using the SAP ERP option.
2. Connection cannot be established and it fails with the error message.

The SAP ERP user's password contains special characters.

Remove special characters from password.
