2981098 - Unable to Add Extension Fields to the Time Sheet View

Symptom

You are trying to add an extension field to the Time Sheet work center view, but are unable to find this option in the Adaptation Mode menu.

Environment

 SAP Business ByDesign.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
  2. Access the Time Sheet view.
  3. Start Adaptation Mode.
  4. Click the (+) action to add adaptation.
  5. There's no option to add extension fields, only mashups.

Cause

It is currently not possible to add extension fields to the Time Sheet work center view, as the UI for Time Sheet is set up differently than other system screens, in such a way that does not allow for the extensibility framework to run in it.

Resolution

This is currently the standard system behavior.
