2981174 - United States Compliance Forms Configuration Prerequisites - Onboarding

• Certain United States Compliance forms require specific picklists to function correctly, which may not be available in the system by default. Customers planning to enable the United States Compliance forms feature in Onboarding must import the required picklists into their instance.
• If the required picklists are not imported, the following issues may occur:
  • The State dropdown is blank in compliance forms (e.g., Georgia Employee's Withholding Form, New York State Withholding and Exemption Form).
  • The State dropdown is blank in the Mississippi State Withholding Form 89-350 when "Yes" is selected for the question: "Is the Employee Mailing Address the same as the Employee Residence Address mentioned above?"

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

• All Onboarding customers planning to enable the compliance feature for United States must perform the mandatory task of importing the required picklists into their instance.
• As the forms require the full legal name of an individual (which may include a suffix), the Suffix picklist must be maintained in Admin Center > Picklist Center. Additionally, the corresponding field must be enabled and configured as a "Picklist" in Manage Business Configuration > personalInfo. This field is not mandatory and may be left blank by users.
• The following picklists are required for the United States Compliance feature/flow:
  • Country Picklist
  • State Picklist
  • US County Picklist
  • School District Picklist
  • Municipality Picklist

Procedure:

1. Download the following ZIP files from the Attachments section of this KBA:
   1. Country_State_PicklistData.zip
   2. County_SchoolDistrict_PicklistData.zip
   3. PA_SchoolDistrict_PicklistData.zip
   4. PA_Municipality_PicklistData 20260101.zip
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Import and Export Data.
3. Under Select the action to perform, choose Import Data.
4. Click on ZIP File.
5. Click Choose File, then select the appropriate ZIP file to upload.
6. Click Import.
   

Important:

• The picklists must be imported in the correct sequence due to dependencies between them. Therefore, we must import the Country_State_PicklistData.zip first, then the County_SchoolDistrict_PicklistData.zip, as it has a dependency on the State picklist.
• For the Pennsylvania Residency Certification form to function correctly, two (2) additional picklists must be imported after completing the steps above:
  1. PA_SchoolDistrict_PicklistData.zip
  2. PA_Municipality_PicklistData 20260101.zip
• Import Sequence:
  1. Country_State_PicklistData.zip
  2. County_SchoolDistrict_PicklistData.zip
  3. PA_SchoolDistrict_PicklistData.zip
  4. PA_Municipality_PicklistData 20260101.zip
