2981594 - You are Trying to Terminate Relationship with Employee and Receive Error: "Employee has Multiple Work Agreements; Specify Last Working Day"

Symptom

You are trying to terminate a relationship with an employee but this is not finishing and shows the following message: "Employee has multiple work agreements; specify last working day".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Personnel Administration work center.
  2. Go to the Regular Tasks view.
  3. Click Terminate Relationship with Employee.
  4. Select the affected employee.
  5. It will show message "Employee has multiple work agreements; specify last working day".

Cause

This can happen because the employee whose termination you are trying to complete has multiple work agreements.

Resolution

When doing termination, please follow with below steps:

  1. Go to the Personnel Administration work center.
  2. Go to the Regular Tasks view.
  3. Click Terminate Relationship with Employee.
  4. Select the affected employee.
  5. Provide termination date in the past and press Enter.
  6. Fill rest of the field enabled and press Save.

If the rest of the fields below the termination date are not active and there is no possibility to select Termination Category, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Personnel Administration work center.
  2. Go to the Employees view.
  3. Find respective employee
  4. Click on Edit and go to the tab Employment
  5. You can change the Termination Date in the section Effective Dates
