Symptom

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to reset the PFS (Print Forms Service)/P-User ID password.

Resolution

    To reset the PFS password, follow the steps below:

    1. Log in to the SAP Community portal.
    2. Navigate to Account & SettingsLogin Settings.
    3. Reset the password.
    4. Note: The PFS password is the same password used to log in to the SAP Community portal.

    Before resetting the PFS (Print Forms Service) password, please review and follow the guidelines below to ensure a successful reset:

    1. Close all browser windows or tabs that have any active SAP sessions or accounts open.
    2. If using the password reset link provided above, open it in an incognito/private browser window to avoid session conflicts.
    3. On the reset password page, make sure to enter the P-User ID associated with your company's tenant, which can be found in Provisioning > Company Settings.
    4. Once submitted, a password reset email will be sent to the email address linked to the P-User ID.
    5. Open the reset email and access the reset link in an incognito/private browser again.
    6. Follow the prompts and set your new password.

    After successfully changing the PFS/P-User ID password, perform the following steps to ensure proper integration with Onboarding:

    1. Re-save the PFS credentials with the new password in Provisioning → Company Settings → Enable Print Forms Generation:
      • URL: https://formsservice<......>.hana.ondemand.com/print-forms-service/odata/PDF
      • User Id: <P-User ID>
      • Password: <new password>
    2. Run the "Onboarding Compliance Metadata Sync Job" manually in Provisioning → Manage Scheduled Jobs.
