2983113 - Applicaton Error When Accessing EmployeeProfilePageConfig in Manage Data - SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Customer is trying to access EmployeeProfilePageConfig in Manage Data but an application error appears when selecting a specific object.

1. In Admin Center, go to Manage Data.
2. Search for EmployeeProfilePageConfig.
3. Select the target object.
4. Application error appears.

In Manage Data, there are 2 EmployeeProfilePageConfig objects. Currently, EmployeeProfilePageConfig only supports one object. Creating a new one will cause the previous one to throw an error.

EmployeeProfilePageConfig should not be edited. Any modification to the People Profile page should be done in Configure People Profile.

However, in the event that you need to delete the affected object, you can do so via Import and Export Data.

WARNING: Deleting the EmployeeProfilePageConfig object will break your current People Profile layout and you need to re-build everything from the ground up.

1. In Admin Center, go to Import and Export Data.
2. Select Export Data.
3. Select EmployeeProfilePageConfig in the Select Generic Object dropdown.
   
   
   
   
4. Go to Monitor Job and download the .zip file.
5. In the .zip file, open EmployeeProfilePageConfig.csv.
6. Use Delete Operator next to the object you wish to delete.
   
   
   
   
7. Save it as a separate file.
8. Go back to Import and Export Data.
9. Select Import Data.
10. Select EmployeeProfilePageConfig in the Select Generic Object dropdown.
11. Browse for the file you just saved and click the Import button.
12. Confirm in Monitor Job that the import is successful.
