2983155 - Database can not be dropped with error msg 3702 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • A database cannot be dropped.
  • The following error message raises when running drop database or dbcc dbrepair('dbname','dropdb')

Msg 3702, Level 16, State 14:

Server "ASE", Line 1:

Cannot drop the database 'dbname' because it is currently in use.

DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact a user with System Administrator (SA) role.
