2983544 - BPE ERROR : USER ALREADY EXISTS user_sys_id in Onboarding

Symptom

A BPE error appears in the To-Do tile when saving HRIS data for the user, showing: USER ALREADY EXISTS user_sys_id: XYZ for the entity: JOB_INFO.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Initiate ONB for candidate from RCM
  2. Candidate lands into BPE error flow

Cause

The error is caused by an existing canceled candidate.

Resolution

Ensure below permissions are present:

  1. Go to provisioning and enable “Instance Synchronization”.
  2. Add an additional permission to the role you assign to the BPE User :
    Manage Instance Synchronization   -  Sync MDF Picklists

To Fix for the affected user follow below:

  1. Purge the user.
  2. Update process flow for Onboarding.
  3. Restart activity from the BPE tile.
