2983896 - Candidate Status field behaviour in Job Application portlet

Under Job Application portlet, Candidate Status field of picklist type is defined.

This field behaves differently when write or read permission is given.

Under Job Application portlet, Candidate Status field of picklist type is defined.

If write permission is given to this field to the Recruiting operator then the operator can see Main and Sub-status associated with the Main Status.

If only read permission is given to this field then the operator can see only the Sub-status associated with the Main Status.

This is expected behaviour.

When read permission is given the field shows only the current status in which the candidate is present in the talent pipeline.

This is system behaviour wherein the privileges on having write / read permission are different.

System shows only the current status when read permission is given.
