Symptom
- When an ASE user:
- Modifies the owner of encryption key
- Created by another user
- And auditing system has been setup to audit this event
- And granular permissions are enabled
- For example:
alter encryption key user1.key_user1 modify owner user1
go
ASE is terminating this process -
When issuing:
select user_name()
go
CT-LIBRARY error:
ct_send(): network packet layer: internal Client Library error: State error: trying to write when connection is expecting a read.
CT-LIBRARY error:
ct_cancel(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Library operation terminated due to disconnect - ASE errorlog:
