2984148 - Migration Cockpit: error Location & & is not defined when migrating fixed asset records linked to a location

During the simulation phase to Migrate Fixed asset - Master Data the following error is raised:

Location & & is not defined

Message no. AC597

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Missing Plant data in in the XML sheet Account Assignment.

Both fields Asset Location and Plant should be filled.

Please note the field tip for Asset Location: Migrating an Asset Location, the indication of the Plant is mandatory. Without a Plant, the asset location cannot be determined.

Also, the Plant tip is: the plant is mandatory for migrating an asset location. Without a Plant, the asset location cannot be determined.
