2984670 - Logic of SAC planning for ACDOCP table

Symptom

You use SAC to plan data for ACDOCP table in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system. It's not clear about the updating logic.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Plan data for ACDOCP table with SAC.

Cause

The normal update behavior is as below:

  1. First data creation: 10
  2. Update 10 into 20: system will first post a reversal for previous value -10, then post the new value 20. 

With this kind of update logic, the system will reverse the previous value and insert new value. This is not duplicated update.

Resolution

If you would like to remove planned values from ACDOCP table, you could use App "Delete Financial Plan Data - with Timestamp".
