2985875 - Boomi: Process Route error: [EXCEPTION] java.lang.NullPointerException

SuccessFactors Connector fails with below error message when "Process Route" step is used and process is deployed:

[EXCEPTION] java.lang.NullPointerException;

Boomi

• This is a know limitation of SuccessFactors Connector when Process Route step is used.
• Boomi has confirmed that the current version of the SF connector is not compatible with process routes.
• The SF connector makes use of internal atom APIs to retrieve relevant information related to the execution. With process route step used in boomi process this information cannot be retrieved and this causes the connector to throw a null pointer exception.
• Until a fix for this is provided by SAP in SuccessFactors connector, sub process must be used instead of process routes.
• This has been confirmed by Boomi as well that this is the only available workaround at the moment.
• Redesign your process considering this constraint to fix the issue.
