2986092 - 404 Not Found when launching AICC Content

When user tries to launch an AICC course, an error is encountered.

SAP Successfactors Learning

1. Inside Learning Administration, a .zip file gets imported through the Import Content feature in order to create a new AICC content >
2. The content gets successfully imported and gets associated to an item >
3. The item is then assigned to a user, who launches the item >
4. Upon launch, the 404 error happens

The imported content is designed to use some third party URL to launch the course. This can be verified by extracting the .au file from the .zip and editing it it with Notepad ++.

Hence, the filename of the course has a prepended URL inside the path prior to the index.html or .aspx (that can be checked at the affected content's record > Launch Method tab > Content URL field). For example: /learning/user/onlineaccess/icontent.do?tenanticontentpath/https://www.randomURL.com/index.html

Please reach out to the content vendor to review the scenario and make the necessary adjusts to the content .zip file before trying to import it again.

A possible workaround is to remove the prepended URL from the Content URL field for the content that has already been imported. In the example above, it would then be only https://www.randomURL.com/index.html
