2986511 - You Don't Know Why Employees Can Change Breaks And Productive Time From Last Year

You as time administrator observed that some employees can change breaks and working times from last year. You think that that the editing of time entries from last year should only be done from the HR department.

1. Go to Home work center
2. Click on Self-Service Overview
3. Click on Edit Timesheet
4. Go to the previous year
5. Select date in previous year
6. Changed unpaid break
7. Click on Release
8. Click on Save

If time entries are not related to source documents, it cannot be blocked. Set Process control and financial period locking only is used when documents are posted to finance. This would be for project time recordings, service confirmations etc. Breaks would not be included in this process. Productive time that it is not related to projects, service confirmations, etc. is also not included.

Project time recordings, service confirmations, etc. cannot be blocked in Employee Self Service only. It can only be blocked for everyone including for time administrators. If you as time administrator needs to change anything, you need to open it in General Ledger work center > Companies > Process Control.
