Symptom

A table has some char/varchar columns contain Japanese multi-byte characters, and the table is page-compressed with character encoding.
- When you retrieve rows from the table, you may be able to find incorrect values in some columns next to the column containing Japanese multi-byte characters.
- Then, when you run reorg rebuild on the table, the incorrect data permanently are written into those columns.
