2987072 - Salesforce Adapter not connecting with Certificates - Data Services

Symptom

  • Attempt to configure the Salesforce Adapter but it does not connect successfully.
  • Error seen " Attempt number 500 to connect to Access Server . Error=Connection to server at 'https://login.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/21.0:443' failed: https://login.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/21.0."
  • Installed the new certificates from https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000269027&type=1&language=en_US, and manually set the SSL Certificates and Truststore path in the Additional Java options but error continues.
