2988044 - The Category Field is not Visible on the Goal Plan in Latest Goal Management

Symptom

  • The category field is not visible in the newly added Goal Plan after upgrading to Latest Goal Management (2H 20202).
  • When adding or editing a goal, it is not possible to change or select a different category as the category field is not visible.

Resolution

  • When you add a new Goal Plan template from SuccessStore, the control-category-element field is not configured by default.
  • If you wish to view and edit the Category field on the goal plan, the control-category-element field must be defined - please refer to the Goal Management Admin Guide for the correct configuration: Defining Category and Default-Category.
  • Read and Write permissions should also be configured for the control-category-element in field permissions.
